Christmas Baking

The run down: Chocolate chip cookies, Hershey kiss cookies, white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, brownies, fudge, taffy, carmels, and peanut butter chocolate squares.

This year I decided to make vinegar taffy. My grandma Phillips use to let all the grandkids make it when we visited. I also have fond memories of pulling taffy with my grandma late into the night when I lived with her after my mom died. However, my taffy wasn't quite thick enough but Whitney and her friend, Jaklyn, had fun pulling it anyway.

Lexi got to stay with us for a couple hours while Linc and Josh worked out at the gym. We had so much fun frosting cookies and listening to Lexi's sweet laugh.

Aprons

I decided to make aprons as gifts for Christmas this year, these are the results:

Disney World December 12-16th

Josh had a seminar in Disney World. He and I had planned to go alone. We had friends and family set up to watch Whitney and Connor but a couple nights before we were suppose to leave Josh and I were laying in bed and we both decided we couldn't leave them. So at midnight I got out of bed and booked another flight. Honesty, I couldn't go to Disney World and leave my kids home?

Epcot~

We loved watching this man blow glass into beautiful ornaments just outside of Germany. We even bought a few and had him engrave them for us.

Connor didn't know what to think of this gnome in Norway.

Mickey Mouse Gourds Anyone?

Eating dinner at the Rainforest Cafe - Not sure why Josh is smiling like that.

Kennedy Space Station~
Last time we went to Disney World we took a Taxi from the airport to our hotel. It was fine but we pretty much had to stay at Disney. This time we rented a car which made it so much more convenient and gave us the extra freedom of doing some site seeing outside the parks.

A piece of Mars

Magic Kingdom~
Josh had a seminar for most of the first day we were there so I took Whitney and Connor to Magic Kingdom, Josh was barely able to join us before they closed (long story).
The lights on the castle were beautiful!
